Description
Common Elements concepts pop into my head all the time, and I can't always identify what triggered the idea. This pairing, however, I can trace directly to a rerun of "Stephen King's It." on late-night TV. When I heard stammering Richard Thomas repeating his mantra, "He thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts," the image of two of comics' ghostliest characters, The Spectre and (of course) Ghost, sprang to mind. With Greg LaRocque having done a splendid job on a previous Common Elements commission featuring Phantom Lady and The Phantom Stranger, I knew he'd be the right artist for this assignment also.
