Description
With the magic incantation "Karma Madre Tolon," Lauren Mason becomes the powerfully patriotic Yankee Girl, who appeared in a single issue of Harry "A" Chesler's Dynamic Comics (issue #23, November 1947). Given her all-American theme, you'd think Yankee Girl's transformational phrase might be something like "E Pluribus Unum," but that was the Golden Age for you. Gene Gonzales combines sprightly design with potent inking here.
