Description
According to the artist, his inspiration for this arresting piece was hearing the Police song, "Canary in a Coal Mine," and thinking that would make a great concept for a pinup. The goal was to surround the Canary with as much black as possible without losing her form or the artist's distinctive style. I think the results are spectacular, making for an eye-catching artwork. I also like the sturdy proportions and world-weary expression Lyle chose for the character.
