They replaced Chuck Norris with Doomsday in The Death of Superman because they wanted to series to last more than one panel. They also realized they couldn't bring Supes back after a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Superman owns a pair of Chuck Norris pajamas. Every year on his birthday, Chuck Norris randomly selects one lucky child to be thrown into the sun. Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs. The chief export of Chuck Norris is pain. Chuck Norris defines love as the reluctance to murder. If you’re still alive, it’s because Chuck Norris loves you. Chuck Norris isn’t hung like a horse. Horses are hung like Chuck Norris. If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you. If you can’t see Chuck Norris you may be only seconds away from death. My favorite Chuck Norris quote: "When I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you!"

It is rumoured Chuck Norris' tears are a cure cancer. This, of course, is only a rumour as Chuck Norris has never cried.

Wow, where can I sign up for this cult. It would be worth it only to bask in the glory that is Chuck Norris and to be able to see this cover in person. I wonder how many times Mike Zeck has been asked to recreate this:)

Notice how he has no lower torso, BECAUSE HE BEAT IT OFF HIMSELF IN A FIT OF NORRIS RAGE! "Look at these nails, they are perfect!" Those henchmen in the background are actually extras from Missing in Action 4: THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL! This was shot right before Norris tried out to be a Solid Gold dancer This was the rejected poster from "Invasion USA 2: DIE COMMIE DIE!

Michael Finn has his great 1-minute later cover recreations, which we all know and love. This cover would only need a 1-second later recreation: CN triumphantly standing atop a pile of broken and battered ninjas.

Wow. The bottom fell out on this one, huh? Hope you didn't pay too much for a particularly good example of rather obscure pop-culture reference to an ironically popular "star" from the early '80s. You looking for any Gary Glitter collectibles too? How about a signed AZIA poster?

I totally feel for you Leo. I go through CAF and, when I don't like a piece, repeated return month after month to comment on how I don't like it. And I too have had my sense of humor surgically removed and my "art critic" beret permanently affixed to my head. I find that helps for me to take comic art far too seriously that way.
