Description
Crack pilot Zinda Blake added a feminine flair to the testosterone-laden Blackhawk Squadron when she popped into the pages of Military Comics #20 in 1943. Doubtless a victim of gender bias, Lady Blackhawk didn't become a regular fixture in the Blackhawks until 16 years later. Looking at this fetching representation of Zinda by Greg LaRocque, one wonders what took the boys so long to bring her aboard.
