Description

An incredible find, this Bronze Age Star Wars artwork by Michael Golden was buried in a collection for a long time until it recently came out on the market. According to a source very familiar with Golden�s work, this piece was most likely a warm up done prior to his Star Wars �Riders in the Void� inventory issue that got published in 1980. Michael Golden did both the pencil and inking on this drawing. The details, especially of the Stormtroopers are amazing.

UPDATE: I showed this piece to Mr. Golden in person and he seems to think the stormtroopers and Han Solo & Chewy were used separately for a fanzine or magazine. If anyone has any idea about the publication of this artwork, please let me know.
