Description

This is the original artwork for the Cover of BATMAN (Vol. 1) #713 (Oct. 2011)--the*Historic* LAST ISSUE of BATMAN! The legendary BATMAN series was published for 71 years(!!!) from Spring 1940 to October 2011. The series was restarted with BATMAN (Vol. 2) #1 in November 2011 as part of DC's "New 52" reboot. This fantastically detailed Cover was pencilled and inked by Tony Daniel and has been autographed along the bottom. This Cover features Batman (Bruce Wayne), Batman (Dick Grayson), Robin (Damian Wayne) and Red Robin (Tim Drake) soaring into action one last time in "Storybook Endings", written by Fabian Nicieza.

BATMAN created by Bob Kane & Bill Finger - 1st Appearance: Detective Comics #27 (May 1939).
