Description

"Demon in a Bottle" by John Romita Jr. and Bob Layton, 1979. When I first laid eyes on this piece I was completely and utterly awestruck by it's artistic prowess and sheer emotional power. Had to give up a king's ransom, but so worth it.

Nice to see this one again! I was the original owner. I bought it directly from Bob Layton during one of his visits to the comics shop I owned back in the late 1970s. Romita Jr and Layton were doing awesome work on that series run! Congrats!

As good as an Iron Man splash as you ever will see from a (or "the") definitive storyline. Whatever you did to get this, it was worth it. If you should ever tire of it, please make me your first call ;) Congratulations on an "invincible" - as in "unbeatable" - Iron Man piece!
