As the adopted son of a 20-year Air Force veteran, I spent my youth around military aircraft and memorabilia. From an early age, I was fascinated by the tradition of bomber nose art. Bombshells! are my way of melding that nostalgic interest with my comic art collecting hobby. My Bombshells! gallery features nose art-style pinups starring Golden Age superheroines. Eventually, I hope to have a Bombshell! commission representing every costumed heroine who debuted in comics during the 1940s and '50s.
