Dear Comic Art Fan,

Last weekend's HeroesCon was a blast as always! Without a doubt, Shelton Drum and his team put on the best comic book convention! The art auction Saturday night was a madhouse and Adam Hughes's contribution once again broke all records raising a staggering $12,000! I'm already looking forward to next year's show!

See you next week!

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.

I'm a 40 year-old Michigan-based Designer/Animator. I'm a big fan of movies and comics, as well as a mediocre but enthusiastic golfer.

2. Which piece in your gallery is your favorite?

Right now my favorite piece in my collection is my Dr. Doom and the Silver Surfer piece by David Finch and Mark Morales. Both artists did such a amazing job. Even though I'm not a huge fan of commissions.... this one really is an exception. It looks like a cover and has two of the best characters in the Marvel Universe in it.

3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?

I've been collecting comic book artwork for about 10 or 11 years. I'm not really sure how or why I started collecting, but it's been a blur of fun ever since it began.

4. How do you display/store your collection at home?

My collection is either framed (which I do myself) or stored away in Mylar sleeves.

5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?

1. All of Michael Williams' Old Man Logan pages.
2. A John Byrne Dr. Doom or X-Men page piece
3. Most Civil War Steve McNiven pieces.
4. A Jack Kirby Fantastic Four or Avengers page.
5. All of Michael Williams' Old Man Logan pages.
