Dear Comic Art Fan,

Today we are going to do a quick tutorial on how to select Featured Pieces to appear in your gallery on CAF.

To begin hit the "Your Account & Collection" tab on CAF and click "Manage Gallery Preferences." Once that page opens click the link "Featured Gallery Pieces."

There will be two pull down menus, first select the one marked "Room" and select the name of the room in which the piece you want featured is stored.

Then go to the second pull down menu (marked “Pieces”) and select the piece.

Once this is done click the button "Add Piece."

Now your art will be appear on the first page of your gallery for everyone else to gawk at in wonder and envy.

See you next week!

Colin Solan
CAF Editor

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.

I'm Italian, I'm 44 years old, I live in Rome and I've been a comic collector since I was eight. In these last three years, I've started to collect original artwork by my preferred artists and I've always improved my passion. I'm the Commercial Director of a Consultancy Company and this passion helps me to escape from the daily working life problems. My goal is to have in my collection some of the best artwork of my favorite US and International artists. I'm happy to share my collection with all the other CAF members with whom I can exchange comments and impressions on the quality and the beauty of the artwork I have and on other CAF members' artworks as well.

2. Which piece in your gallery is your favorite?

My favorite piece in my Gallery is the fully painted commission by Gabriele Dell'Otto of the Death of Gwen Stacy. The reason why I've chosen this artwork is because, in my opinion, Dell'Otto has made one his best pieces ever, commissioned by myself, on one of the most significant events in Marvel history. The dramatic power of this piece is incredible.

3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?

I've been collecting comic art since 2009 and the reason why I've started is related to the opportunity offered to buy some of the original artworks of my favorites characters/artists that are available on the market thanks to websites like CAF itself.

4. How do you display/store your collection at home?

Well, I have some of the best artworks on the walls of my studio and some others are collected and framed waiting to be showed in a "real" gallery one day.

5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?

Please find the list below:

Witchblade #10 Darkness #0 Cover by Marc Silvestri

Darkness #17 Cover by Joe Benitez
