1. Please tell us a little about yourself.

I am happily married and a father of a beautiful baby girl.  I personally invest in and manage multiple family buildings in New York.  I am also the Controller at a New York real estate management company.  I spend most of my free time with my family.  My baby is only four months old but she is growing up so fast.  Whatever time I have left I indulge in viewing and purchasing original comic art and watching movies.  I am a movie fanatic and I enjoy sci-fi and action movies the most.  When work permits my wife and I travel as much as possible which now has become a totally different and fulfilling experience with our baby.

2. Which piece in your gallery is your favorite?

That is a difficult question to answer even with my collection consisting of a only a few covers.  If I have to choose I would say my Batman: The Dark Knight #7 cover by David Finch and Richard Friend.  I love the artistic style and raw intensity of it.  I have always wanted to have a Finch cover and it being a Batman cover is just a bonus as I believe he is one of the greatest draftsmen of the character.  It is my newest acquisition, but it evokes the most emotion from me when I look at it.  That being said, I would say my Steve Epting Captain America #13 and Gary Frank Action Comics #868 covers come in as very close second favorites.

3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?

I began collecting original comic art in the summer of 2008.  I would say my single greatest influence in beginning to collect original art that has now become a passion is my friend Nick Katradis, who is one of the largest collectors of original art that I personally know, and who continues to mentor me in the inner workings of original art acquisition.  The choices of art to purchase are definitely as a result of my personal artistic taste which for now is concentrated on the modern masters.

4. How do you display/store your collection at home?

For now I store my collection in an Itoya Professional Art Portfolio, which I go through frequently to admire the art I am lucky to own.  I plan in the near future to frame a few of my pieces for display on a wall in my home.

5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?

My top five most wanted original art pieces to own would be:

(1)  Joe Shuster Action Comics #1 cover
(2)  Jack Kirby Amazing Spider-Man #1 cover
(3)  Bob Kane Batman #1 cover
(4)  Todd McFarlane Spider-Man #1 cover
(5)  Jim Lee X-Men #1 gate-fold cover
