He says on his Tumblr: “I will be giving a lecture about my art, career, and other nonsense at my alma mater, the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, on Monday October 14th at 7:00 pm in the Main Auditorium. This event is presented by the Illustration Department, but it is open to students in all majors as well as to the general public. It has been a while since I’ve been back and I’m really looking forward to it. New Englanders, I hope to see you there!”

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.

My name is Oliver Ang and I'm a combat veteran. When I was deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan I made sure that I had some of my comics with me to read that kept me sane. Now that I'm out the military, I now work for a private contracting company overseas.

2. Which piece in your gallery is your favorite?

Cavewoman Cover Gallery #4 Meriem by Budd Root, hands down is my favorite piece. It was originally owned by Conny Valentina and I always go to her gallery and check out Budd Root's Meriem cover gallery 4. When Conny had it up for sale, I emailed her right away and got this baby. I just love the way Budd Root makes my Cavewoman Meriem!

3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?

I started collecting original comic art when I got into reading Marvel, DC, Heavy Metal magazine etc. in the late 90s. I didn't know that you could own one of the original comic art. I was in awe when I first got my original comic art cover, Dark Wolverine #77 variant cover by Stephen Segovia. Then followed by Age of X-Universe by Simone Bianchi, unfortunately I sold the Bianchi piece. To this day I'm still kicking my butt on why I sold the piece.

4. How do you display/store your collection at home?

I store my original art in acid free/ archival safe Portfolio POP 11"x17" size that I bought from Anthony's Comic Book Art website.

5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?

My top five most wanted original pages or commissions are:

Thor: God of Thunder #11 Cover by Esad Ribic
Thor: God of Thunder #10 Cover by Esad Ribic
Cavewoman Snow #4 cover by Budd Root
Cavewoman Reloaded #1 cover by Budd Root
Red Sonja: Revenge of the Gods #2 Cover by Lucio Parrillo
