1. Please tell us a little about yourself.
I'm an attorney, and am married with two adult sons and a Tibetian Spaniel.
2. Which piece in your gallery is your favorite?
My favorite piece of art in my collection is the title splash to the classic three part arc "Superman In Kandor" that appeared in Superman #158 (1963). This is Superman at his silver-age peak, with pencils by Curt Swan, inks by George Klein, and story by Edmond Hamilton. It is also the first appearance of Flamebird and Nightwing. This is from my favorite Superman story!
3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?
I've been collecting comic art since 2000, when I picked up an Ingels EC Old Witch splash page at San Diego Comic-Con. I had been reading some EC reprints and thought it would be cool to get a page of original EC art. I traded that page away years ago, regretted it, and was recently able to get it back after it passed through several hands.
4. How do you display/store your collection at home?
I keep my collection in mylar sleeves, in portfolios,in a safe. One of the reasons I enjoy ComicArtFans is that I can see my collection anytime and anywhere I want in my CAF gallery.
5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?
My original art top five want list would be: A complete Williamson / Frazetta EC science fiction story; a Swan / Klein Superman cover; a Jack Davis EC cover; a Graham Ingels EC cover; and an early Silver-Age Moldoff Batman splash page.
