Dear Comic Art Fan,

It's Comic-Con week! Right now thousands upon thousands of comic fans are descending on San Diego for the country's biggest pop culture event of the year. If you're headed there yourself be sure to check out artist alley. While the media, toy, and video game companies take up more space every year, Comic-Con is still a great place to meet artists, particularly those from outside of the US and the animation industry. I look forward to seeing all the new art and am eternally jealous of eveyone who got to go!

See you next week!

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.

I am 47 years old and I live in Valencia (Spain). I like all kinds of comic art, not only super heroes, and nowadays I am starting to collect art of other genres.

2. Which piece in your gallery is your favorite?

It is difficult to me choose only one, but I will go with Incognito #4 cover because I like all of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips' comics. Sean Phillips is one of my favorite artists and this cover is one of the best he has done.

3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?

I have collected art since 2009. I was on vacation when I became interested in the original art and won my first original piece on ebay. Nowadays I am hooked and I cannot stop buying more.

4. How do you display/store your collection at home?

I have very few original pieces hanging on the wall because I am afraid that the sun will damage the art. The rest of my collection is in acid free portfolios.

5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?

Tim Conrad - Savage Sword of Conan #17 page

P. Craig Rusell - Elric page

Steve Bissette and John Totleben - Swamp Thing page

John Totleben - Miracleman page

David Mazzucchelli - Daredevil: Born Again page
