Our weekly newsletter is a day late and a dollar short as they say. We would have got this mailing out yesterday but we were busy addressing issues with our server move. While things started out great we eventually have decided to keep our equipment where we've had it for more than 20 years. Things just work better there, and we're comfortable with the entire situation. It will create challenges in the future, but we'll deal with that and always do our best to keep you in the loop. Sorry we put you through the aggravation the past 45 days, I can assure you that we were suffering right along with you when things were not going well.
Have a great weekend!

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.

Robert Angus. Live in Clifton New Jersey. Went to Saint Joseph’s University and graduated in 2013. Recently married to my wonderful wife.

2. Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why?

My All-Star Batman Variant by Declan Shalvey.

Scott Snyder is my favorite Batman writer to date. So when it was announced that he was doing All-Star and Declan and Jordie were involved I needed to get their first cover.
I bugged Paolo daily for three months before I was able to purchase it. (Sorry and thanks Paolo!

3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?

I started reading comics casually probably in high school with infinity Gauntlet. I didn’t start actively collecting till I graduated and got a job to afford it.
What prompted me to start collecting art was I went to NYCC in 2013 and started seeing all these commissions everywhere. I slowly started going from commissions to original pages to covers.

4. How do you display/store your collection at home?

My wife and I own a town house. We have a loft on the top floor where I can display all my artwork on the walls. I have a wall leading up the stairs of all Batman artwork. I am always looking for new ways to display.

5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?

1)    Frank Miller DKR page.

2)    Sean Murphy Commission

3)    John Byrne Uncanny Xmen 141 or 142 page

4)    Jim Lee Xmen page

5)    John Romita JR Amazing Spiderman Splash Page.
