Hello Comic Art Fans!

Now, here’s an art show that New York Comic Con attendees can really sink their teeth into: Metropolis Gallery's upcoming Walking Dead exhibit, which will feature original comic art, TV production art and CGC graded comics celebrating the ‘TWD’ zombie phenomenon. The show opens October 6—just in time for Comic Con—and runs through December 1.

At Metropolis, a unique gallery dedicated to comic art, fans can feast their eyes on the world’s most complete collection of Walking Dead comics and art. "This show features the best of everything," says Vincent Zurzolo, Metropolis Gallery curator and co-owner of Metropolis Collectibles, "from the highest-grade copy of the first comic book in the series…to Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard’s original art featuring iconic scenes…to concept art created by the late, great John Watkiss to inspire the TV production.” The exhibit precedes a massive Walking Dead auction—featuring the first auction of the more than 500 pieces of art and 750 comic books—ending on December 5th and on Metropolis’ online auction site, ComicConnect.com. The collection is valued at $500,000. More details HERE.

With most of the comic art collecting world is focused on NYCC this week there is plenty of Con updates to view on our news page, as well as updates from art sellers who are not in attendance this year. Click here to see all the recent new posts we received!

Best,
Bill Cox
