1. Please tell us a little about yourself.
I'm a father of two, a boring accountant by day and a headbanger at night. I've been reading comics since I was seven when there was only Marvel and DC and you could find everything at a newsstand. I've always been an Avengers and X-Men fan since the beginning. I left the hobby for a while until I started seeing the Image titles and the work that Mike Deodato was doing on Wonder Woman. I've been an avid reader since then.
2. Which is your favorite piece in your gallery and why?
By far my favorite piece is the Ed Benes X-Men commission in my featured gallery.
3. How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?
I only recently got into the art portion of the hobby (about 2-3 years). I thought that it would be wonderful to own the pieces that you saw in the books but never really pursued it. Then it happened... I saw the Ed Benes X-Men commission that was previously possessed by another CAF member and I fell in love. I inquired into it but someone else had committed to it. After several months by chance I contacted the owner and it appeared that there was a problem with the arrangement and he asked if I was still interested. And that's how it started.
4. How do you display/store your collection at home?
I do have the Benes X-Men piece framed and displayed along with some my other cherished pieces. All my other art is stored in portfolio binders. I seemed to have wandered a little in my collected and I need to get back to some basics and focus.
5. What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?
Here are my some thoughts on my top 5:
Jim Lee - Wizard Wraparound Cover with the WildCATs
Marc Silvestri - Cyberforce/JLA Cover
Mike Deodato - Wonder Woman Cover - I just can't remember the issue but I know that Artemis is on it.
Ed Benes - JLA Cover #19 or #25
Jim Lee - X-Men Cover
