FINALLY!!! I laid my hands on a Miller-Janson DD page (I won´t start calculating the Miller-Janson percentages or I may be dissapointed)
And from this one I just plan on moving up the ladder on Miller! This one may not be the best, but like pizza or sex, any Frank Miller page is a good page.

Well, I've had bad pizza...even with the blank panels, they're there for a storytelling purpose, and make the single, stand-alone page even more dramatic, IMHO. And as far as the Miller/Janson percentages, like you said, forget it, look at how beautiful the finished product of the combined talents comes out. Great acquisition, congrats, enjoy it!

Well, I LIKE the white panels. I like them a lot! They are there to show us how brilliant FM was back then, using the blank to give us an idea of the nothing that Murdock could hear or feel. You got yourself a great one, my friend: be happy!

I love those blank panels! Less is more! Some of my favourite comic art pieces (Floyd Gottfredson, Bill Sienkiewicz, Kent Williams come to mind) are either 1/2 white or 1/2 black. Btw: I had bad pizza too. But not very often, and certainly not in Italy.
