CJ Bloomer and NGDS

C.J. Bloomer was born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of South-Western Virginia where he encountered the fantastic in everyday life. Intent on becoming a professional artist and illustrator, Mr. Bloomer apprenticed under the infamous Charles Vess at Green Man Press while attending college in Berea, Kentucky. Gaining an education in traditional art through various methods, he graduated with a degree in Studio Art. He now resides in downtown Lexington, Kentucky creating fantastical art and illustration from his own working studio: Nydwyn Green Dragon Studio. NGDS is committed to producing high-quality artwork and illustration. This includes using lightfast pigments in ink and watercolors with archival safe papers. The art produced here is made to be an investment that will last generations. Tools of the Trade include Kalish Kolinsky Brushes from Ireland; M.
