Welcome to my collection. Hope you see something that you enjoy. I have had a lot of fun collecting them. The question that might pop into your mind after looking thru some of the art is "Why Amethyst?". Many years ago when I started collecting original art I just picked up whatever character was cool at the time. I was at a show one day and noticed a lady showing off her collection to someone else. It was entirely of one character but with many different artist's takes on that character. That is when I made the change. I thought about which character I would like to focus on for awhile. I like all of the mainstream popular characters just like everyone else (Wolverine, Batman, Spiderman, etc...), but I didn't want to get the same character everyone else was getting. I decided on Amethyst based on the character being the first comic that I really enjoyed when I was younger that wasn't a mainstream superhero. In recent years I have begun to branch out to other characters so I can get something different from artists that have already drawn her for me, but I'll always have a weak spot for Amethyst.
