I got this commission at the Toronto Wizard Comic Con in March 2011. Alvin Lee was taking a limited number of sketches and I was lucky enough to get his last Saturday slot. I really wanted a great Deadpool by an artist that worked on the series and Alvin fit the bill perfect. He was the last regular artist on the 1st Deadpool monthly series and does an incredible job of drawing him. He is also fresh off doing the art for the new video game X-Men vs Capcom 3 for which Deadpool is one of the playable characters.

I got Alvin to draw him sliding across the ground firing his guns... and I even managed to talk him into spreading across both back and front of the comic... BONUS!!

Alvin did a pencil rough first and went over the image in detail with a pen. He then used a marker to do the toned shading. In total he spent at least 2hrs drawing this commission. I walked around the convention and kept checking up on him every 30min or so to see what it looked like. Absolutely recommend this artist if you want a great sketch. Alvin is a bit on the expensive side for commission prices but definitely worth every dollar! This comic was given to CGC onsite for grading under their signature series line.
