This is a choice piece and shows how wonderfully complex a villain Otto Octavius is. And this is a significant spotlight to be shone on their relationship in light of recent events. For those who hadn't read the crossover storyline during the Clone Saga, Peter had been drugged with a fatal virus and Doc Ock took it upon himself to helping Spider-Man with a cure (after successfully unmasking him in his weakened state thanks to assistance from Stunner) out of ego. He wanted no one to defeat Peter but him. And now he's done so in the most perverse irredeemable way imaginable. Sal and Bill were a perfect marriage on this book; you're lucky to have this in your collection.
