Batman

I don't think there is a comic fan out there that hasn't read and loved Batman at one time or another. But which Batman did you love ? A lot would depend on when you started reading him and what art style was popular at that time. For me it was the Silver age style of Sprang, Moody and Moldoff, many times assisted by Charles Paris. Of course they all were Bob Kane to me as a kid but even then I could tell the difference in art by Dick Sprang as opposed to say, Shelly Moldoff. A bit later in life I was seduced again by the Adams-Giordano look and there was even a Detective issue by Bob Brown that I thought was just great and then there were Rogers, Newton and Aparo, man can those guys draw capes. So it's this look at you will find here, the new stuff does not really appeal to me. Again I fall back on what I first said, your love for Batman is influenced by when you first read him and I do love some of the pieces in here. Enjoy.
