Description

Tom Raney was sketching at the June 2003 convention in NYC. I asked if he would draw Obi-Wan Kenobi from the time of the Clone Wars, as portrayed by Ewan McGregor (or, as I sometimes refer to them, "Obi-Wan: The Trainspotting Years"). Raney generously agreed to have a go at it. The finished sketch nicely captures the character's likeness, while still showing Raney's style.

I believe Raney did work on at least one issue the monthly Star Wars title for Dark Horse. In any case, I'd definitely enjoy seeing him do more SW-related projects.
