Description
Long before the MCU cinematic universe put comic characters into films, Gene drew comics like they were films ! What do I expect from a nice Dracula page ? An innocent beautiful lady walking the street and inviting the Lord of Vampires for a decent drink ! The only problem with this page is the weird placed sub-title, very misplaced in a Horror series anyway in this even more awkward story ("it's number 50, I have a great idea: let's put the brightest Marvel hero against our darkest title character and the Surfer always sells"..). From all the crossovers that poor Drac had to suffer (Spiderman, Dr.Strange, X-Men, Werwolf by Night,..), this might be the the most useless. Look up my Gene Colan gallery for more fun with Drac and my John Buscema gallery if you want to see the Surfer soaring somewhere !

I like!  Definitely a nice Colan Drac example with the scene setting then the splash!  It’s funny what you say about the middle SS lettering...definitely odd but that’s kinda what I like about it!  Just a strange mash up.  Congrats, Tommy!

Yet, you can almost feel the fangs soaring into someone's neck. What a score! Love Palmer's inks in this period, big congrats!
