Description

Fantastic splash page by the great Wally Wood for the story "EC Confidential!" and published by EC Comics in Weird Science # 21 - Sept.-Oct. 1953. This story holds a special place in the hearts of EC fans as it involves the staff of EC (Bill Gaines, Al Feldstein, Wally Wood, etc.) as characters in the story where Earth is invaded by aliens. The quality and detail in this incredible splash shows Wally Wood at his finest! This striking image was later used as the cover of one of Russ Cochran's EC Cover portfolios, and it was also reprinted in Overstreet's Price Guide # 9 as part of the article on EC Comics in 1979.
