Sheldon Moldoff Batman Commission

This is one of the earliest commissions I did, either number three or four. I could not believe that the artist that was the Batman artist in my childhood was alive well and doing commissions. Sheldon Moldoff drew "Robin Dies at Dawn" one of my favorite stories. I asked him to recreate the four members of the Batman family that I so enjoyed as a kid in familiar poses. I really wanted that famous Batman cape pose that was introduced by Jack Brunley and boy did Mr. Moldoff deliver on all four figures . To me the best Batgirl will always be Kathy Kane. This is one of those commission that makes me smile every time I walk into my guest room and look at it. This scan my be a little blurred since I have this under glass, but I thought I would share it . Enjoy.
