Description

I already have my "grail" (first comic in my collection) but this one comes pretty close.

I'd started collecting Avengers a few months earlier, but my collection was built on hand-me-downs from a neighbor, whose subscription copies came mailed folded. One day his family brought me along to the comic shop he was getting all his 'mint' copies from.

The wall of new comics was overwhelming, and I'd only brought enough money for one comic...Thor #330 was the winner.

A one on one confrontation battle cover that is so good, they could drop the backgrounds to just leave the audience to study and feel the heat of this moment!

Terrific cover from a very underrated artist. Bob Hall doesn't get all the credits he deserves for the fine work he put in on many Marvel titles. Congrats on your pick-up!

That's great, J - CLASSIC cover shot. And I like the choice of no background here - you get to really focuc on the "vs" image, and you got the lettering framing. Pure vintage goodness. Congrats!
