Description
This is 2 of 4 that I collected from this series. I love this page because it has Drax working to fulfill his destiny as the Destroyer. Of course, he is being his usual Drax self and not contemplating the fact that Thanos is currently on his team and is needed to help prevent the destruction of their universe, but hey no one ever said that Drax was the sharpest tool in the shed. [Drax Math Equation: "If A=Thanos, B=This gun in my hands, A+B must equal C. C is my Destiny. My math is impeccable."] Thus, with no thoughts regarding the entire purpose of being on Titan in the Cancerverse, he takes it upon himself to enforce his destiny with all the shock and awe of his big a$$ hand cannon. Much to the chagrin of his of his fellow guardians, they contemplate which head to blow off. Be it that of Thanos, or Drax himself. All this taking place while a space pooch is behind the scenes trying to calm the situation telepathically and what else is there to say but, "Bozhe Moi!" To further the mood Gamora completes the page by calling Drax a "Flarking Idiot". To me this page has all the semantics, dynamics, humor, and shear bada$$ explosiveness that you could ever want in a page with Guardians vs. Thanos. Although be it, THEY ARE ON THE SAME FRICKIN' TEAM!!!

Of note, when you look at this page vs. the published page you will notice that the stone commemorating the monument of Thanos was removed by the color artist. I am not sure why it was removed as you get a sense of confusion looking at the published page. I was thinking what is that character standing next to Thanos because it looks a lot like Thanos. Not sure if someone was morphing into him, a robot, etc. Then no reference to it there after so slightly confusing in the comic, but after looking at the original page it all makes sense. They are on Titan and prior to Necropsy Thanos would have existed in the Cancerverse and this was a monument to the Thanos that was. Just one of those edited minutiae that might have been beneficial to the story, but not so bad that it created a major disruption to the storyline.

Flip worthy!  The Thanos statue throws you off, but makes sense in the final published image.  Rocket is the most eye catching character on the page.
