Nova (Vol. 4) Issue #10 Pg. 16 (ft. Nova, Gamora)

This page from Nova (Vol. 4) #10, released January 9, 2008, captures a pivotal moment in the evolving relationship between Richard Rider and Gamora. Prior to this scene, Richard was infected with the transmode virus by Gamora, who was under Phalanx control. With the help of the Worldmind, he manages to suppress the infection. Tracked to Knowhere by Select Gamora and Select Drax, Richard escapes through the Continuum Cortex to Kvch. Gamora and Drax follow closely behind.

While in transit, Gamora quite literally falls into Richard’s lap, setting the stage for this emotionally charged page. Set within the birthing canal of a Vore, the scene features Gamora’s raw confession. She reveals how the Phalanx virus numbs the pain of her true self. It is a rare moment of vulnerability that deepens the tragic undertones of their fractured connection.

This page echoes the broken love story that began in Annihilation #1, on Page 16. It offers a powerful continuation of their shared arc.
