DC 1971: original, published Detective Comics 412 page 7 original art, featuring The Dark Knight, a fleeing “ghost knight” and a beautiful Lady from the Wayne family in England ! Drawn on an 11x 16,50 inches regular DC artist artboard, stamped on the back by The Comics Code Authority in February 1971! Condition: very nice, cut slightly on the top border by during the printing process. Some blue-lines by the penciller are visible, minimal whiteout was used in two panels - look up the detail pictures.
The comic issue (with cover art by Neal Adams) is NOT included in this auction.

Drawn by classic artist Silver Age Bob Brown (pencils) and beautifully inked by DC/Batman veteran inker Dick Giordano (who also inked the art of Neal Adams and many other Batman artists in the Silver + Modern Age in various titles )! The story was edited by legendary Julius Schwartz and written by comic master Frank Rob-bins. One of the many DC issues from this period around 1970 that featured mys-tery and suspense stories similar to the ones in “House of Secrets and “House of Mystery”, horror stories/titles were extremely successful then for DC.

This issue’s story: "Legacy of Hate": Bruce Wayne is invited to the ancestral Waynemoor Castle, of the Wayne Family in England, where he meets several distant relatives and encounters a ghostly knight bent on centuries-old vengeance. He is forced to intervene as Batman in order to stop the "ghost" and finds out that it is no ghost, but the butler, who discovered a past murder and became insane with the belief that he was the reincarnation of one of the castle's founders. Batman captures the insane man and clears the centuries-old murder mystery, but finds himself still baffled by the apparent supernatural circumstances surrounding Waynemoor Castle
