Domino Lady was the prompt for Scott's Pulptober 4, 2024 piece.
I love Scott's bold graphic design for this piece with the white interior of her cape that sweeps to the viewer's left juxtaposed against the black of her dress that sweeps to the viewer's right.
The Domino Lady is really University of California, Berkeley-educated socialite Ellen Patrick. When her father, District Attorney Owen Patrick, is murdered she puts on a domino mask to avenge him. She would arm herself with a .22 pistol strapped to her thigh and a syringe full of knockout serum.
