Description
X-23. WEAPON X / Bazal. 8,3x11,7 in.
"Built to endure, trained to kill.”
X-23 is depicted at the breaking point between control and feral instinct, her body tense, her scream cutting through the frozen wilderness. Bound by the remnants of the Weapon X program, she advances not as a soldier, but as pure survival incarnate. Ángel Bazal presents her as a living contradiction: engineered precision colliding with uncontrollable fury, claws extended as the last truth she can trust.
The image conveys emotional violence rather than pure action. The forward stance, the open scream, and the hostile environment reinforce the sense of psychological breakdown. There is no idealized heroism: there is resilience, trauma, and a fury born of abuse. The character is not presented as a successor, but as a savage evolution of the Wolverine myth, more visceral and less restrained.
