Saga of Elf Face #3 Cover CHUCK COSTAS

A little known fact... I was actually the guy who originated that shaky inking style that Rob Liefeld and Todd McFarlane became so popular for in the 80's.

As a teenager, it was always my dream to have my art published in a comic. At the age of 14, I got that dream - a published cover! This was used as the cover to a book called the Saga of Elf Face #3. Hey, it sold 3,500 copies - that about as much most Marvel books sell for nowadays.

OK, the inking job wasn't a tight as it could be, but I was only 14! Give a kid a break!
