English Scene - complete

This is the art piece i got from my mother as a Christmas present (Dec 2006). Originally my uncle painted it around 1972 for an English girlfriend he had, and he thought in an english scene containing some representative characters of England, including sir Winston Churchill, William Shakespeare, King Henry VIII, Charles Dickens, etc. and when he finished, he gave her the piece.
She went out of my uncle's life and she decided to return the framed piece to my uncle, and he keep the piece for several years. One time he travelled to Mexico to visit my mother, he brought the piece from USA and gave it to my mother, and she keep it until she thought it would be a very nice Christmas gift to me. I admired the art piece for several years, but knowing the story i was afraid my mother wanted to keep the piece because it was a gift from her brother, and never asked for it.
The piece has several quotes from english people, and i am very thankful my uncle broke with her former girlfriend; finally he got married (with other girl of course) and i have 2 cousins from his marriage.
