Description
The full, finished figure of Sheena. I glazed a little Hookers Green Deep over the shadowy side of her figure to reflect the surrounding environment, and set her into the painting. I went back into the cat and glazed over the areas that are in the brighest light to give an impression of sheen to it's coat. You'll also notice that by making sure the rosettes appear and disappear between the folds of her skirt, that the folds almost paint themselves. A little drop shadow under the point and they no longer look like Daisy Dukes. I also had reduced the height of the plant in the foreground because it was confusing against the leaves behind it on the trunk of the tree. I hate paintings that show every living thing looking at the viewer as if they're posing for a photo, so I made sure to turn the jaguar away from "camera". The cat looks distracted, though. How do I address that without repainting it's face? Hmmmmm

The cat is fine. The painting is perfect!
