Talk about right place at the right time! I was at JJ Kirby's table to have him sign an original page of his that I gotten when Jim Lee showed up unannounced. A small crowd formed and he started to do some 'sketches' before he had to leave for a DC panel. I happed to have Uncanny X-Men 248 with me (for reference to get a Havok commission) so I had him sign it and asked if he could do Havok. He did this amazing piece 'McGuyver style', improvising with whatever he had around him (tissue, white out, scraps of paper, a water bottle). His artistry is amazing and I am super grateful! From Wondercon 2007.

You lucky dog. I was there too and was told the line had just been capped. I walked by about 15 minutes later and they'd let another group of people in line. Arrg. Nice piece! I saw a guy walking away with an amazing, really large batman piece as well.
