DescriptionThis is one of my favorite pages of the group. Titled "Crocker Yates -- Hasn't been out of the hotel in seventeen years", the drawing features DeBeck's draftsmanship at its best. Wonderful contour lines, beautiful use of color and pattern. This has all the trademarks of a Phil May drawing, where the contour creates the edge, while the color and patterns create the guts of the drawing.Social/Sharing |
