Colossus by John Cassaday

Anyone who reads Astonishing X-Men knows one of the best moments was when Colossus returns in issue 4. This sketch was obtained by me, and I think it was the only one he did at the show. I initially got in line to get all my books signed, then went back to the end of the line to give him a gift (I read that he liked Byrne's Captain America, and esp. the stories he did around when Cap almost ran for president). There was a What If story of What If Cap ran for president and I gave that to him, and pleaded for a sketch. He smiled and gave me this. Colossus in silver sharpie. If you shine it in the light, you can almost picture him transform into Colossus. Cassaday never fails to amaze me with his art. Beautiful. Thank you Mr. Cassaday!
