Description
Always wanted to see JB's take on Ghost Rider, but even I was not expecting THIS. One of, if not THE finest takes on Ghost Rider EVER. JB really hit a home run on this one and even experimented with a different style of inking. INCREDIBLE!!!

The flaming skull is great! It's good to see established artists experimenting as well. This is clearly a bit of a departure for 'old JB.

Ari, out of all your great pieces, this one makes me jealous. Byrne was on fire (no pun intended) when he did this one.

Nice use of black contrasting with the white of the paper great technique by a great comic strip artist.

Never been a big fan of the Ghost Rider in comics but he should be considered one of the top characters in terms of visual impact. How could he not be? And John has clearly outdone himself here. The angle and the large white space areas, the great depiction of the skull, the heat without the usual "tongues-of-flame" everywhere and the in-your-face aspect are awsome. Very visually striking. Love to see Ian color this. Wouldn't even want to try it myself.

Not at all what you expect when you think "Byrne Ghost Rider"...you mind thinks it is gonna see one thing and you get something totally different yet as spectacular as you'd hope. Amazing.

The texture of this one is just amazing. I'd love to see him experiment like this more often.

Good lord, you've got the entire Marvel Universe by Byrne here! Some of the finest work I've seen him do in a while...if all this were collected in a nice sketchbook, I'd be plunking down my cash tomorrow!

Down to John's signature, this piece is off the chain (sorry for the bad pun, I could not resist). I love the fiery feel to this and the perspective is absolutely perfect! Congrats Aric.
