EBAY DESCRITION
This carbon manuscript was pulled from Bukowski's typewriter in 1972. I originally bought this poem from Scott Harrison @ The Abandoned Planet Bookstore (San Francisco) in 2001. I fell in love with it not only because I'm a rabid Bukowski fan, but because it tells the tale of a Man, A Motorcycle and the "anti-fairy tale" of love gone sour. Can't we all relate at some point?

A scan of this *EXACT* copy appears on: http://bukowski.net/vault/manuscripts.php (Search 1972) I've been told 1970's manuscripts are getting rarer and rarer... You rarely see pre-1971 poems being sold anymore, so 1972 is early. Some of these manuscripts from the same era, of the same quality have sold for over $1500. My reserve is much lower.

The signature was done in blue ball point pen, poem is carbon. You can feel the impression the pen left thru the paper... (See close up photo)

This is the only manuscript that I have, so you may not see one of these available again any time soon. I'm selling it because I am moving out of the country on my own little journey. I'll be sad to part with it but I know the new owner will treasure it.
