Description
Classic man vs himself battle. Inks by the legend, Klaus Janson. I'm on the lookout for the two other pages to complete this fight sequence. Let me know if you ever see them!

Why have I never commented on this page before? Stylistically, it is classic Colan. Every image in the sequence uses a different trick from his bag of artistic magic, but it doesn't seem like it's showing off. Everything just seems the way it should be. (And the inks, always crucial for Mr. Colan's art – unless shooting directly from his pencils – look just about perfect to my untrained eyes. Way to go, Klaus!)

I agree with Tim... love the shading on the fist coming towards the viewer. Fantastic! Klaus is the man... one of my all time favorite inkers.
