Description
Looking through Marshalls artwork at a show I came upon this piece in a rough pencil. It depicted the ledge and the flying buttress. I asked what it was to be and Marshall said a pier. I suggested a church scene. At the next show I saw Marshall at he had this piece finished. I couldn't pass it up and it's a highlight of my collection.

I've seen this piece in person hanging on Jim's wall and it is a pleasure to look at! A great scene by one of the great Batman artists!

Great piece, glad it still means so much to you! Fewer artists these days can draw architecture like Marshall did!
