Description

Jamal Igle is a great artist, still very underrated. This is a good example of his work. In the pages of GL, when Kyle Rayner was the ring-slinger, the cast often hung out at Radu's Coffee Shop. Here's one such occasion.

I always enjoy getting pages that have characterization and conversation. They can be more interesting than the ones where a bunch of guys in costumes are punching each other out. I really like the layouts on this one. Jamal is a good storyteller.

I love pages with quiet scenes like this one. And Dan Adkins is an extraordinary inker over Igle here.
