They are discovered by the Madri and a battle ensues. Nate uses his newfound flying power, but is hit by one of the Madri’s blasts. He recovers in time to shut off two of the Madri. Another of them watches and intends to inform Apocalypse about this powerful telepath. Forge berates Essex as he made the boy push himself too far. Essex denies this, asking what he’d have to gain from that, after all.
