DescriptionWolverine #66 page 2 & 3 DPSOld Man Logan - Part 1 of 8 by Steve McNiven & Dexter Vines Marvel - June 18, 2008 This one is a bit of a grail for me. This beautiful double page splash kicked off the Old Man Logan story arc. It was only proceeded by a 3-in-1 panel page, on pg 1, of a bloody Logan stumbling through the woods in a flashback. This is the first page we see Logan as an old man and we are introduced to Logan's new home and life. It was also great to see this DPS featured in part 8 of the series in the giant-sized extras section at the back of the book. Social/Sharing |

Very cool! I love the details, and scope of this page. What I found interesting about this page in its published form was how well it went with page 1. They were connected, so we could skip 50 years without a problem. Page 1 features Logan going up the hill; pages 2 and 3 seeing him go over a hill. He's "over the hill" now, and since the series is called "Old Man Logan" that really fits. I don't know if that was the intention or not, but I thought it was cool.

maybe not an action page...but for this reason GREAT! this is the spirit of the old logan (before Hawkeye arrival...). Really great!

WOW! Incredible DPS! I love this story and Steve's art really made it perfect! Congrats on owning a piece of comic history!

It was so cool seeing the finished pencils to this in the bonus section of the book. Almost made me wish the inks were done on a separate board to preserve those gorgeous pencils.
