Description
This is a copy of a series of Spidey prints done by Romita Sr.

I'm guessing that this was originally put out in the 60s.

Awesome scored piece of art. The one complaint that I've always had about artists' different interpretations about the Lizard was how he seemed either too gater-esque or why the regrown arm didn't have a completely shredded sleeve since it was always rolled up or pinned up. The face I feel works best when there's still a bit of humanity in the structure of the eyes and the mouth. Rhys Ifans' Lizard in the recent film harkens back to Romita's version before the 90s McFarlane redesign. While John could have made him a little more bulky and taller as opposed to this Wolfman-like physicality (monster hands, feet, and face while completely normal looking build), this is classic Romita and don't dare question the maestro. Great acquisition.
