I had been reading comics for a few years when Ernie Chan (then going by Ernie Chua) started working for DC. For a while it seemed like he was doing covers for every DC book on the stands, and they were all fantastic! All too soon he had moved to Marvel and started his long run on Conan. I considered getting a Conan from him, but ultimately I decided to get something that harkened back to my early days in comics.
