So, Wrenchies is the graphic novel that Farel is working on, to be published by First Second Books. I first saw this page on Farel's website, and was drawn to the character Hollis, who for some reason reminds me a bit of the Kid character in Gahan Wilson's Nuts. But the cityscape and watercolor work also pulled me right in. The drawing is just terrific, and no one captures the dingy cityscape in all its glory like Farel. Beautiful work.

This page blew me away! I just recently read The Wrenchies and found it to be awesome. I think all of us comic lovers relate to the character of Hollis, I know I do. Beautiful find.
